The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will collaborate with various departments to implement advanced medication safety strategies. Your contributions will be essential in conducting medication safety reviews, developing educational content for teams, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization. This unique role will allow you to actively participate in improving policies and services for better patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on medication safety systems review
• Develop and implement error reduction strategies
• Analyze incidents to enhance safety measures
• Prepare educational materials for staff training
• Represent pharmacy interests on safety committees
Requirements:
• Registration as a Pharmacist in BC required
• Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency
• Post-graduate Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
• At least one year of specialty experience required
