Drive success at AbCellera as a QC Microbiology Manager in Vancouver. Oversee GMP QC-Micro operations while ensuring compliance in microbiological testing and contamination control.
In this pivotal position, you’ll lead the QC microbiology lab at our clinical manufacturing site, ensuring adherence to regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
Your role will include technical mentorship, strategic decision-making, and innovative problem-solving to tackle contamination issues across various microbiological methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage microbiology operations including endotoxin and bioburden testing
• Coordinate disinfectant efficacy studies supporting cleaning processes
• Review testing results from external partners
• Facilitate investigation of deviations and OOS results
• Maintain inspection readiness for laboratory operations
Requirements:
• Over 10 years in a GMP QC microbiology setting
• Bachelor's in Microbiology or relevant field
• Experience in mentoring within controlled environments
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Commitment to data integrity and best practices
