As part of Fraser Health, you will play a pivotal role in patient therapy management through individualized medication counseling and teamwork with healthcare providers. This position offers the chance to contribute to drug therapy guidelines and support future pharmacists through mentorship, enhancing patient safety and care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult with medical staff to develop patient-focused therapies
• Conduct medication counseling with patients and families
• Contribute to drug therapy guidelines and evaluations
• Participate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide educational support to pharmacy trainees
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC
• Successful completion of a recognized Hospital Pharmacy Residency
• In-depth knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational capabilities
