Salary Details

The salary range for this position is CAD $48.58/Hr.

- CAD $60.44/Hr.

Come work as a Physiotherapist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as part of Vancouver General Hospital's Willow Pavilion Adult Rehabilitation team.

Within the context of a resident/patient and family centred care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision and values of the organization, provides physical therapy assessments and treatment using current theory and evidence based practice. The position supports the interdisciplinary program/team achieving program and resident/patient goals. Consults, confers and collaborates with Program Manager and team members as well as Practice Coordinators and the Practice Leader in the promotion of continuous quality improvement, implementation of interdisciplinary research and in coordinating activities required for progressive educational and clinical practice programs.

Supervises designated staff, schedules and coordinates work assignments, establishes priorities and problem solves. Responsible for all clinical aspects of the assigned caseload as they relate to physical therapy practice, utilizing recognized physical therapy assessment and intervention approaches. Works collaboratively with members of the health care team, including residents/patients and families, to set physical performance goals, evaluate response to treatment and develop long term care plans.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized program.
• Current full registration as a Physiotherapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Two (2) years' recent, related experience in the designated service area, including one (1) year's related mentoring, preceptoring, coaching and/or group facilitation experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
