As a Support Worker, you will be part of a healthcare team, offering non-clinical care, promoting wellness, and ensuring a safe living environment for all. You will engage with clients and families and assist in daily activities while preparing for a future as a Health Care Assistant through the HCAP program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide essential non-direct support to residents and families
• Assist with meal setup and limited food preparation
• Support activities that enhance residents' well-being
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the facility
• Document care activities and communicate observations
Requirements:
• Grade 10 completion with English 10 or equivalent
• Must hold Canadian citizenship or residency
• No previous HCA training in British Columbia
• Proven communication and engagement skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to care
