Vancouver Coastal Health is on the lookout for a Screening Mammo Tech to enhance their BC Cancer program at Lions Gate Hospital. Candidates will utilize their skills in performing mammography, proper data entry, and equipment management. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will ensure patients are monitored and environments are kept hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine screening mammography procedures with safety

• Complete requisite forms and enter necessary data

• Set up patients and trays for imaging tasks

• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance

• Maintain cleanliness in examination rooms and patient areas

Requirements:

• Current CAMRT certification and completion of Mammography 1

• One year of practical experience in mammography

• Familiarity with PACS/RIS digital imaging systems

• Proven ability to handle diverse patient interactions

• Certification in CPR & physical capability to perform duties
