What You Will Be Doing
  • Administrative duties - answer a high volume of phone calls and emails, greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals and results, and handle private payments.
  • Lab duties - prepare laboratory specimens (biopsies) for send out, dispose of ssssssssssscontaminated supplies, sterilize medical instruments (autoclave).
  • Patient care duties
    - Coordinate patient care through the clinic, check in, prep, and escort patients to exam rooms, prepare exam rooms, answer questions, provide post-appointment advice, run the UVB machine, monitor the waiting room and manage the flow.
  • General duties
    - Keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management.
You Have
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Experience as an MOA or a MOA program certification is preferred
  • Work experience in a medical specialists' office is an asset
  • Work experience in medical aesthetics is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and investigate problems
  • Open, positive, and accountable
  • Ability to work 5 days a week (Monday
    - Friday)
  • Experience with an EMR system (Accuro) is an asset
