Comfort Keepers is hiring a Registered Care Aide located in Vancouver to assist elderly clients in their homes. The role focuses on delivering care based on individual needs, helping clients with daily living activities and maintaining a safe environment. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with bathing, mobility, and personal hygiene
• Monitor clients and report any significant health changes
• Aid with cooking, shopping, and household tasks
• Ensure a clean and safe living space for clients
• Drive clients to appointments when needed
Requirements:
• HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number are essential
• Must hold current First Aid and CPR certification
• A driver’s license and vehicle greatly beneficial
• Must have access to a mobile phone
• Weekend and evening shifts are mandatory
