Position: Care Aide Role Coastal Health
Become a vital part of client care with Vancouver Coastal Health as a Care Aide. This role focuses on personal care, monitoring clients, and assisting nursing staff under a resident-centered care model.

You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide essential care. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, dressing, and assisting with meals for residents while following established care plans. Your observational skills will ensure accurate reporting of clients' progress and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, including grooming and bathing

• Assist clients with meals and oral hygiene

• Monitor and report clients’ progress and symptoms

• Use mechanical aids to transport and assist clients

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in client environments

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education, including English 10

• Graduate from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program

• Eligible for registration with BC Care Aide Registry

• Effective communication skills and physical ability

• Knowledge of Patient Care Information Systems
