The salary range for this position is CAD $44.89/Hr.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiological Technologist 4 Supervisor, CT!
Reporting to Site Coordinator, the Radiological Technologist 4 Supervisor, CT works in a team based environment and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of technical and staffing activities of assigned area. The incumbent:
- Oversees the quality of technical work performed, participates in recruitment and performance management and coaches and orientates team members.
- Updates and standardizes policy and procedure manuals, compiles financial and statistical reports and responds to enquiries.
- Facilitates and coordinates research and development projects, participates in the management of computerized information systems. May be responsible for the permanent evening and/or weekend shift.
- Performs technical/special procedures when required.
- Supervises at least one (1) other Radiological Technologist at the P1 and/or P2A and/or S1 level and a total staff of up to and including eight (8) FTE.
Education & Experience:
- Certification with the CAMRT.
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography.
- Completion of an Intravenous Therapy training course when required by site practice.
- A minimum of four (4) years' recent, related experience including experience in radiology procedures and one (1) years' supervisory and leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for Medical Imaging practitioners established by the CAMRT and/or other relevant national professional associations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice related to designated modality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and standards of care, including practice of safe work procedures with modality equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current General Radiography and CT Scan theory and practices within a client/family centred model of care.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with radiology equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PACS/Radiology Information Systems, i.e. digital imaging, image archiving and retrieval.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, demonstrate, facilitate, coach and mentor staff.
- Demonstrated ability to develop procedure protocols and manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (orally and in writing) and deal effectively with clients and their families, coworkers, physicians, other health care staff, and staff of external agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with and/or guide others in resolution of conflict issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and establish workload priorities in collaboration with others.
- Demonstrated skill in CT techniques and the use of applicable equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrated ability in CPR techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to operate related equipment including applicable software applications.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
