As part of the Tertiary Mental Health Intensive Rehabilitation team, you'll assist individuals with severe mental health conditions, fostering independence while enhancing their coping strategies.
Your role will include observing client progress, offering emotional support, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily emotional and social support to clients
• Assist with activities of daily living like meal planning
• Monitor client progress and report significant changes
• Collaborate on individualized rehabilitative treatment plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and recognized Mental Health Care Worker program
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork capabilities
• Familiarity with operating related mental health support equipment
