Scientific Recruiter

Overview

STEMCELL Technologies is a privately owned, Vancouver-based biotechnology company that helps power leading-edge life science research. We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our collaborative team, focusing on scientific and technical talent, to support our mission and evolving business needs.

• Provide full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, behavioral-based interview support, reference and background checks, and offers of employment
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with HR team members and other key business stakeholders throughout the organization
• Manage the recruitment process and related activities using technology including the HRIS system (Workday)
• Report on and respond to recruiting related KPIs and metrics to inform the business and drive recruitment strategies and tactics

• Post-secondary degree in a science related discipline is required; advanced degree with direct lab-based experience is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience or related experience
• Ability to analyze industry trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment while providing a positive candidate experience

The annual base salary for this job ranges from $81,700.00 - $. STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
