Talent and Orientation Associate
Job Summary
The Talent and Orientation Associate is a pivotal support role for the Talent Acquisition team this role, you will focus on recruitment administration and provide exceptional customer service as the first contact point for new hires throughout their career journey with STEMCELL. You will handle administrative, logistical, and foundational relationship‑building tasks with a focus on onboarding and orientation, collaborating closely with team members to support both recruitment and HR functions and ensuring a warm, welcoming experience for new hires.
Responsibilities- New Hire Onboarding: serve as the primary point of contact for new employees, coordinating paperwork, conducting background checks as needed, and guiding employees through initial onboarding stages, including logistics for onsite and virtual sessions, booking and preparing meeting spaces, and arranging equipment.
- Organizational Support: provide a high level of care and customer service to hiring managers, talent acquisition staff, facilitators, and new hires throughout the orientation process.
- Team Coordination: support the full talent acquisition cycle by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews, and managing hiring logistics.
- New Hire Feedback: manage orientation evaluation surveys, gathering input from employees, managers, and facilitators.
- Systems and Reporting: support system changes and process documentation, generate reports using Workday, the Learning Management System (LMS), new‑hire reports, and other metrics to improve process efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a passion for the life sciences.
- 2–3 years of experience in learning & development, training, customer service, and/or marketing, with strong administration skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, focusing on high‑level service delivery and partnership with stakeholders.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills, with an agile, adaptable mindset to work autonomously and handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Previous facilitation experience is an asset; proficiency with Google Suite and Learning Management Systems preferred.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $71,200.00 to $96,400.00. Pay within that range is determined by experience, education, job‑related skills, and equity within the team or organization. Eligible roles may also receive sales incentives as specified by company policy.
