The Field Service Representative (FSR) provides outstanding customer service while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation in hospital and stand‑alone laboratory environments, reporting to the Canada West Field Service Manager. The role is primarily based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and operates remotely to cover British Columbia and other provinces as needed.

• Independently serve customers by performing troubleshooting, repair, installation, validation, and preventive maintenance on designated instrumentation.
• Complete timely and accurate preventive maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs, and service documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service, including technical training on diagnostic products and systems.
• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, building and enhancing the relationship with the customer to become a perceived partner. Travel throughout the district’s territory and/or Canada.

• Technical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of related experience (field service experience preferred).

• Ability to travel in Vancouver, interior BC and to/from USA – 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Physical ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb; frequent bending, stooping, twisting, etc. Must be able to reach, flex, extend, with good hand dexterity.

• Experience servicing IVD instrumentation: clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, urinalysis, lab automation.

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics offers a comprehensive benefits program including paid time off, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k). The annual salary range for this role is $75,000–$85,000 CAD, with potential for bonus/incentive pay.
