Position: Senior BI Developer to develop and support Data models, Power BI Analytics, SSRS Reporting and Analytics for the
S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior BI Developer to develop and support Data models, Power BI Analytics, SSRS Reporting and Analytics for the Maintenance and Operations customers in the Mining Operations space.
12 month contract in Calgary or Vancouver (Preference for Calgary) - Preference for candidates willing to go onsite but will entertain remote candidates
MUST HAVES:
Experience with data analysis and preparation, including considerable experience with very large data sets of unstructured data related to Business IntelligenceStrong experience building BI data models for analytics and reportingAdvanced SQL skills and experience with relational and analytical data sourcesWorking knowledge with Azure Databricks in an analytics or BI contextHands-on experience developing Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboardsSolid understanding of dimensional modelling, KPI design, and analytics best practicesAbility to translate business requirements into effective data solutionsStrong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindsetExperience in large-scale or industrial enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with version control, CI/CD, or analytics lifecycle management practicesNICE TO HAVES:
Exposure to SAP data platforms (e.g., SAP Datasphere, BDC)Experience in Mining Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance
