Production Coordinator - Design; Featurette

Support the DMP Department by coordinating day‑to‑day production activities for a featurette project. Work closely with DMP leads and supervisors to manage schedules, track assets, and ensure environment deliverables align with overall production goals. Serve as a key communication link between DMP artists and cross‑departmental teams to keep the pipeline moving smoothly.

• Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating DMP schedules, asset lists, and shot assignments
• Track progress of matte paintings and environment assets using Shot Grid (or equivalent), ensuring timely and accurate updates
• Facilitate communication between DMP, layout, lighting, compositing, and other departments to support environment integration
• Organize and participate in production meetings; document notes, action items, and approvals
• Identify potential bottlenecks in the DMP pipeline and proactively coordinate solutions with leads and production
• Coordinate resources, reference materials, and deliveries related to DMP assets and environments
• Prepare reports, status updates, and review materials for supervisors and stakeholders

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Production Coordinator, preferably within animation, VFX, or environment‑focused departments
• Proficiency with Shot Grid or similar production‑tracking software
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Familiarity with DMP workflows (environment creation, projections, asset handoff) is a plus

Pay Range: CAD $1,200–$1,400 per week. This salary range reflects our current expectations for this role as of this posting's date.
