Join our WW Promotions and Events Data and Insights team, where you'll have the opportunity to continuously improve the systems that enable Amazon's annual worldwide revenue of billions of dollars.

Promotions reinforce a positive perception of Amazon’s price leadership with shoppers by complementing our everyday great prices with time‑bound discounts on a broad selection of high‑quality products. For Selling Partners (SPs), promotions create incremental demand for their products and increase their share of voice, clear inventory, and drive traffic to new selection. WW Promotions owns the sourcing and execution of promotions at Amazon and we are their data & analytics team.

We serve as the central stewards of promotions data, delivering trusted and governed datasets that power product development, machine learning models, and business analytics across the organization.

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience mentoring team members on best practices

• Experience with big data technologies such as:
  Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience operating large data warehouses
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
