Our Enterprise Solutions Practice are seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant, Service Now (ITAM/ITOM) for our Service Now team nationally. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for service management and automation, hands‑on experience with technology, strong communication skills, able to see the big picture and fit with our culture.

What you will do
As a Senior Technical Consultant (ITAM/ITOM) in our Service Now practice, you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high‑performing team. You’ll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset by:

Develop, set up, and tailor Service Now applications for both new and existing deployments covering ITAM or ITOM Applications.

Establish and configure functional data, including Notifications and Service Level Agreements.

Create and set up script objects such as Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies and Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, as well as create or modify tables and their relationships.

Establish interfaces between Service Now and other platforms based on integration opportunities identified by Solution Architects.

Conduct design, development, unit testing, and troubleshoot system and integration testing.

Document the design, development processes, unit test cases, and implementation plans.

Advise on Administration settings and best practices.

Collaborate effectively within diverse teams in an inclusive culture that values individual contributions.

What you bring to the role

At least 3-5 years of experience with Service Now, including development and configuration

Service Now

Certifications:

CIS-ITOM or CIS-ITAM

Proficient in Service Now scripting using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and REST/SOAP Web Services.

Understanding and experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and all scripted components of Service Now.

Ability to customize the Service Now user interface and Service Portal using UI pages, CMS, CSS, and Service Portal widgets.

Knowledgeable in integrations and migrations.

Strong understanding of Service Now administration settings, with extensive functional and technical expertise of the platform, and experience in delivering medium to large‑scale implementations.

Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively

Comfortable working in an agile environment that emphasizes continuous feedback and team interaction, with the ability to perform under high pressure.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent work experience. A Master’s in Information Systems, MBA, or other related fields is an asset.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

Fluency in French, both spoken and written, will be strongly considered.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $100,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
