** about this team
** The Global Social Media & Insights team is responsible for the day-to-day representation of the brand on social media. We partner with creative teams, brand managers, merchandising, styling, talent, creators, and external agency partners to bring to life compelling creative content rooted in strong social strategy. We lead the way when it comes to the brand’s global presence online and partner alongside regional social teams to create continuity for local audiences.
** core responsibilities
** The Social Media Specialist is a social media storyteller who plays an integral role facilitating and streamlining all brand content. You support multiple projects at one time from daily calendar management, leading quick turn social capture, supporting our integrated campaign moments and asset management and publishing.
* Responsible for asset management, scheduling of content across all @lululemon channels and channel infrastructure to support these responsibilities (two-factor authentication, password tools etc.)
* Manage the quarterly and monthly social calendar planning process, supporting the social media strategy team in prioritization and campaign flighting, and identifying any gaps within the calendar
* Identify quick turn culture-driven opportunities to support the calendar, partner with the strategy and creative team to bring always on content to life on channels
* Maintain day-to-day relationship with our Digital Engagement team – informing them of our content plans and partnering with them on high-profile reactive moderation across our channels in a way that generates brand love online for lululemon
* Create low-fidelity content at activations, shoots, and events across the organization with the guidance of our creative and strategy teams (i.e. iPhone content for Tik Tok)
* Utilize our insights and listening tool-stack (i.e. Plot, Tubular, Emplifi) and stay up to date on best practices to maximize their efficiencies
* Update the social teams, brand teams, and wider organization about social media and industry news on a weekly basis
* Contribute to cross functional social listening reports, social strategy briefs, Digital Engagement team processes, and other social-relevant needs from the organization

* ** 2‐3 years’ experience in a social media or brand marketing role
* Ability to lead and take initiative in a highly cross-functional team environment
* You are endless curious about online trends, culture, and conversation, constantly innovating the way we connect with our community on social media channels
* You love working in a fast-paced environment. Able to thrive in a growth-stage environment, characterized by a rapid pace and change
* You’re a strategic problem solver who’s self-motivated, productive, and efficient
* Entrepreneurial spirit and insatiable thirst for creativity and storytelling. Able to create compelling content, uncover creative angles and craft interesting stories
* You have sharp attention to detail and are a champion of consistency
* Strong analytics skills and have experience working with social listening tools for measurement, listening and reporting
* You practice self-awareness, are goal oriented and have a strong desire for constant self-improvement
