About this role

A Senior Technical Product Manager owns the Service Now Asset Management platform. This role is accountable for setting product strategy, driving enterprise adoption, and delivering measurable outcomes across cost optimization, compliance, risk reduction, and operational efficiency. This is a highly cross‑functional role that partners with IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, and Compliance to ensure Asset Management operates as a trusted, scalable enterprise capability.

responsibilities
  • Own the product vision and multi‑year strategy for Service Now Asset Management as an enterprise platform.
  • Define product principles, success metrics, and investment priorities.
Stakeholder Leadership
  • Act as the single accountable product owner for Asset Management outcomes.
  • Align senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, and Compliance.
  • Drive decisions and tradeoffs across teams with competing priorities.
  • Thinks big and own a 12–24 month strategic roadmap, balancing platform stability, growth, and transformation.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, risk, and leverage.
  • Say no to low-value work and ensure focus on the highest‑impact outcomes.
Asset Lifecycle & Data Governance
  • Define and govern the end‑to‑end asset lifecycle, from request through disposal.
  • Establish standards for asset data, models, normalization, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure alignment between Asset Management, CMDB, contracts, and financial systems.
  • Define KPIs for asset accuracy, license compliance, cost savings, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure Asset Management supports audits, vendor true‑ups, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate financial and compliance risk.
Platform & Team Enablement
  • Partner with Architecture and Platform teams to deliver scalable, upgrade‑safe solutions.
  • Shape the operating model and mentor PMs, TPMs, and domain SMEs.
  • Raise product maturity and adoption across the organization.

  • Asset data is trusted, auditable, and widely used.
  • Measurable cost savings and risk reduction are delivered.
  • Asset Management is recognized as a strategic enterprise platform, not just a tool.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Product or Platform Management.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Service Now HAM and/or SAM.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives at enterprise scale.
  • Strong business judgment, executive communication, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
