As an Experienced Cloud Architect, you will help shape secure, scalable, cost‑efficient cloud solutions that directly support WSP’s business and technology ambitions. Working with teams across Canada, you’ll contribute to modernizing how we deliver cloud services and accelerate transformation across the organization.
Your Impact   Contribute to designing and developing secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions aligned with WSP's architecture standards.
Translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud architectures supporting operational and long‑term strategy.
Support evaluations of current cloud technologies and help align solution designs with efficiency and modernization goals.
Participate in hands‑on configuration, deployment, and migration activities to ensure smooth transitions into operations.
Collaborate across functional teams and managed partners to deliver standardized and consistent cloud services.
Prepare clear, structured documentation including solution designs, configuration guidance, and operational handover materials.
Participate in governance activities such as architecture and change reviews to ensure solutions meet established standards.
Interface with operations teams to support seamless integration of cloud services.
Assist with cloud migration discovery, planning, execution, and optimization.
Review new cloud offerings to assess alignment with organizational needs.
The Skills That Set You Apart   2–5 years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Azure services including VMs, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure AI Services, and container workloads such as AKS or Container Apps.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Azure CLI, Python or Power Shell.

Experience with CI/CD practices and Dev Ops workflows.
Understanding of cloud architecture principles including scalability, availability, networking, and DR concepts.

Experience with migration tooling such as Azure Migrate and database migration technologies.
Familiarity with Azure Policies and cost governance (Fin Ops) concepts.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience, with relevant Microsoft certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑305 or equivalent).

Compensation  AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $93,000 – $124,900
MB & ON: $84,800 – $118,400
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $84,000 – $113,100
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The wage range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
