Position: Technical Support for VFX Artists
Shape the future of VFX with Sony Pictures Imageworks as an Assistant Technical Director in Vancouver. Focus on building tools that empower compositors and enhance the production process.

This full-time role involves supporting the development and maintenance of compositing tools and pipelines. You’ll work under the supervision of VFX and CG Supervisors to solve issues and streamline workflows using your knowledge of Python and Nuke. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Python tools and Nuke workflows

• Troubleshoot production issues in real-time

• Document production tools for workflow clarity

• Collaborate effectively with asset management teams

• Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Expertise in Python and Nuke

• Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting

• Familiarity with version control systems
