The College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC, or the College) is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. The College regulates over 13,000 health professionals, including chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopathic physicians, traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, and acupuncturists across British Columbia.
Formed on June 28, 2024, through the amalgamation of four provincial health profession regulators, the College was established as part of the Ministry of Health’s initiative to modernize the health profession regulatory framework in B.C. Its primary role is to protect public health and safety by licensing and regulating health professionals and the settings in which they practice. This includes ensuring that every health professional within its purview is fully qualified to provide safe and ethical care.

Are you a skilled SharePoint professional who combines technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset? The College is seeking an individual to step into our SharePoint Specialist (12-month contract) role, where you’ll contribute to system optimization, user support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the Manager, IT, the SharePoint Specialist(1-year contract) willbe responsible forthe configuration and maintenance of the SharePoint system across the organization. This role supports system operations and services while working collaboratively with the IT team, Records Management Advisor, and various departments to deliver effective, user-focused solutions.
The SharePoint Specialist will manage the SharePoint site, resolvesystemand access issues, and ensureoptimalperformance and usability of the platform. Additionally, the role will provide training and support to business users and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will also provide Level 1 IT support to end users, assisting with day-to-day technical issues as needed.
It is essential for all College staff to contribute to a public protection mandate, delivering efficient and responsive services that align with the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA) and broader commitments to reconciliation, while supporting the College in meeting its regulatory, strategic, and operational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)- Lead and support the transition of business units to an updated SharePoint architecture, partnering closely with various departments to understand needs, define requirements, and ensure a smooth adoption process.
- Develop and execute project plans for SharePointredesignimplementation and migration activities, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Configure, administer, and maintain
SharePoint Online environments, including site creation, permissions management, and governance. - Collaborate with the Records Management Advisor to implement andmaintainrecords management practices, including retention, classification, and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, system roadblocks, and user access challenges to ensure continuity of operations.
- Identify risks and barriers to successful implementation, proactively recommending and implementing solutions.
- Support system operations bymonitoringperformance,maintaining system integrity, and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
- Design, build, and optimize
SharePoint sites, libraries, and structures aligned with business needs and best practices. - Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to end users to drive adoption and effective use of SharePoint.
