Enhance technology services as an IT Coordinator with VACFSS in Vancouver, BC. This full-time role focuses on IT project delivery, support, and managing technical resources for Indigenous families.
As an IT Coordinator, you will lead initiatives that ensure technological support aligns with the agency's goals of empowering Indigenous communities. Oversee and guide a team while addressing technical inquiries and improving workflows through innovative IT solutions. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance and supporting technology upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and execution of IT services
• Oversee network security and system maintenance
• Provide staff training on technical tools and platforms
• Manage vendor relations for IT needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational IT challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Seven years in IT/System administration roles
• Supervisory experience of three years minimum
• Preferred certifications in IT security or project management
• Experience in government or non-profit sectors is advantageous
