Match Box Consulting Group is currently seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Business Analyst for a 6‑month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze business requirements using effective business analysis techniques, with a focus on Salesforce Data Cloud and personalization initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing, CRM, and Technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, customer insights, and data‑driven decision making
  • Create clear visual representations including process maps, customer journey flows, data models, and reporting frameworks to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and data requirements
  • Support Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives including customer data unification, segmentation, data mapping, identity resolution, and reporting requirements
  • Document business processes, system integrations, data flows, and CRM workflows across enterprise applications
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams, architects, administrators, and developers to support scalable CRM and customer data solutions
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, backlog grooming sessions, and requirements gathering activities
  • Identify and recommend business process improvements to enhance sales operations, customer engagement, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain business process, systems, and integration documentation as platforms and processes evolve
  • Support Agile delivery teams by participating in sprint planning, UAT coordination, defect triage, and release activities
  • Assist leadership teams with strategic initiatives, reporting analysis, and other project‑related activities as required
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally supporting Salesforce, CRM, customer data, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Hands‑on experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud and or Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), CRM processes, customer lifecycle management, and omnichannel business environments
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for enterprise systems integrations and data transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of data models, ERDs, data mapping, and system/process flows
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both business and technical teams
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in fast‑paced, evolving environments
  • Experience facilitating workshops, defining business processes, and driving consensus across cross‑functional teams
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud implementations or Customer 360 initiatives
  • Familiarity with API integrations, middleware platforms, and service‑based architectures
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
  • Exposure to sales operations, revenue operations, or customer analytics initiatives
