Senior Assurance Solutions Architect, AWS Security Assurance Services

Job Overview

AWS Security Assurance Services is seeking an Assurance Consultant to drive the expansion of our security assurance practice and educate customers on how our product‑led, people‑powered services enable secure cloud operations while meeting compliance objectives. The role is customer‑facing and focuses on helping enterprise customers migrate workloads to AWS, manage risk, and achieve compliance across a variety of regulatory and industry standards.

• Lead teams of Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk‑management approaches that help customers move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Engage in deep dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands‑on demonstrations to resolve security‑assurance questions and achieve compliance while operating in AWS.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

• 5+ years of infrastructure or database architecture, network architecture experience.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities, managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, and Cloud ERP Private.
• Familiarity with SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as Generative/Agentic AI and data & analytics.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
