IT Technician – Tier 1

The team at Lynxedge Solutions is growing, and we have a new opportunity for an entry‑level IT Technician – Tier 1 to join their collaborative technology team in Vancouver, BC. Are you a recent graduate or early‑career IT professional who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and helping others?

As an IT Technician you will focus on providing front‑line technical support to clients including answering calls, troubleshooting common IT issues, and assisting with basic systems maintenance. This role requires patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to follow established processes to deliver consistent, reliable service.

• Starting salary between $48,000 – $54,000 (commensurate with related experience and skills) plus a signing bonus

• Answering and triaging incoming client support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Completing password resets, software updates, and antivirus scans
• Supporting network administration and monitoring systems
• Logging and documenting all work accurately
• Assisting with IT setups, installations, and equipment management

• Post secondary education in computer networking or a related field is preferred (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems and common applications
• Hands on experience installing and managing IT hardware and software
• Takes direction well and welcomes training opportunities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively

• Ability to safely lift 40 pounds and move comfortably in office environments
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule (approximately one weekend per month) and assist with occasional after‑hours work
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
