Insight Global is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to support application architecture, development, and innovative feature delivery for consumer-facing solutions. This role will play a critical part in driving quality across releases by establishing QA standards, leading automation efforts, and influencing test strategy across multiple programs.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and UX/UI to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while mentoring and guiding other Quality Engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and own testing strategies across multiple programs and projects
- Plan and prioritize test schedules based on project scope and delivery timelines
- Design and implement scalable automated testing solutions using modern frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure quality throughout the SDLC
- Establish and promote QA best practices, testing standards, and overall test strategy
- Participate in and guide automation code reviews, ensuring high-quality scripting standards
- Identify gaps in team capabilities and support resource planning, task allocation, and team development
- Coordinate testing activities, including test data creation, environment setup, and dependency management
- Track and report on test metrics, providing consistent updates to stakeholders
- Assess risks and project readiness based on testing outcomes and identified issues
- Research and implement new testing tools and technologies
- Support training and mentorship initiatives to elevate team skillsets
- 8+ years of experience in QA and/or software development
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience testing POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Strong background in manual testing, including black box, white box, smoke, sanity, and regression testing
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and Agile environments
- Experience testing Oracle Xstore
- Exposure to or experience working with AI-driven technologies
