Become part of Techedin as a Software QA Engineer focused on desktop applications. This hybrid role in Vancouver emphasizes test automation and seamless installation experiences.
In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality installations while collaborating on testing methodologies and quality improvements. With 1-3 years of experience, you’ll contribute to automated testing and validate workflows including installation and upgrade scenarios. Collaborate with global teams to enhance product quality through effective problem-solving and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality desktop installation experiences
• Participate in requirement analysis and defect tracking
• Build and maintain automated tests for workflows
• Validate installations, upgrades, and uninstalls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality support
Requirements:
• 1-3 years in desktop application testing
• Hands-on experience in test automation development
• Understanding of programming languages (Python, Groovy, Shell)
• Familiarity with Windows OS fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
