Position: Managed Account Program (MAP) Support Specialist

MAP Support Specialist – Operations

Aviso is a leading wealth management organization dedicated to improving financial well‑being for Canadians.

We’re looking to fill an opening for a MAP Support Specialist to join our Operations team.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as daily support for Aviso’s Separately Managed Account (SMA) programs and other investment management solutions.
  • Handle email and phone inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, efficient, compliant, and professional client account management.
  • Process investment instructions, account set‑ups, updates, transfers, redemptions, and contributions.
  • Execute discretionary trades to support redemption and contribution requests.
  • Act as the primary contact for problem resolution, initiating investigations, recording details, referring to relevant departments, and conducting follow‑ups.
  • Guide and support advisors on SMA procedures to ensure successful product implementation and account maintenance.
  • Assist with monthly fee‑billing.
  • Provide support to the Supervisor through analysis of departmental trends and preparation of reporting such as volume and escalation tracking.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in a related field (e.g., degree, diploma, or certificate in Business or Finance).
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • Licensed as an INV Registered Representative or eligible to be licensed as an IR within 30 days.
  • Minimum 5 years of customer service experience, with 2‑3 years in financial services, preferably serving high net‑worth clientele.
  • Excellent time‑management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with portfolio management software, Bloomberg, or Morningstar preferred.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties.
