As part of the Information Technology Services team, you will report to the Manager of Desktop Services. Your responsibilities include resolving complex IT problems, maintaining library applications, and providing hardware support. Strong customer service skills are crucial as you interact with a diverse community in the heart of Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software user issues
• Build and maintain desktop computer images and configurations
• Provide desktop and mobile device hardware support
• Manage user accounts and integrated library system maintenance
• Train staff and write documentation for users
Requirements:
• Degree in IT or related field with desktop support focus
• Experience in tier two desktop support and customer service
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft applications
• Familiarity with integrated library systems and scripting languages
• Valid driver’s license for British Columbia
