Senior Network Services Manager at Provident

Lead innovative network infrastructure projects with Provident Security in Vancouver, BC. As the Senior Network Services Manager, shape and support high-security home networks while overseeing your team and infrastructure.

In this full-time role, you will drive critical projects focused on designing and maintaining residential networks tailored to security, automation, and connectivity needs. You will oversee Provident’s internal systems and act as the principal architect for client network solutions. Collaborating with a 24/7 Operations Centre and skilled technicians, you will ensure seamless implementation and troubleshooting of network services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design client residential networks ensuring security and functionality

• Maintain and enhance internal server and network infrastructure

• Train technicians for daily network issue resolution

• Implement proactive monitoring and remote remediation services

• Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain documentation

Requirements:

• 7+ years in network and systems management

• Expertise in VLANs, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi design, and security

• Proficient in virtualization, Linux, and scripting (bash/Python)

• Experience in cloud-managed networking solutions

• Comfort with client communication and building team capability
