Job Description Developers develop, test and integrate applications, frameworks and tools in a controlled environment. With expertise in a specific technology environment, they are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management or technical application management of client-specific package based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and enhancement of SharePoint Online solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to governance standards

Architect, develop, and optimize SPFx (React/Type Script) web parts, extensions, and application customizers for complex enhancement requests

Design and automate business processes using Power Automate, integrating advanced logic, connectors, and data services

Oversee the implementation and refinement of information architecture, including content types, term store taxonomy, metadata models, and site provisioning standards

Build and maintain advanced provisioning, governance, and automation scripts using PnP Power Shell and PnP Framework Integrate SharePoint with external applications and enterprise systems using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and secure authentication patterns

Troubleshoot high complexity issues related to permissions, search, performance, SPFx components, and platform limitations

Provide technical leadership for enhancement cycles, guiding intermediate and junior developers

Review code, enforce best practices, and oversee solution quality across all enhancements

Contribute to migration cleanup tasks such as metadata remediation, content restructuring, and automation of repetitive tasks

Collaborate closely with architects, BAs, QA teams, and product owners to refine enhancement requirements and translate them into technical designs

Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, estimations, and release planning

Document architectural decisions, solution designs, deployment guidelines, and reusable patterns

Required

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on SharePoint Online development experience in enterprise environments

Expert-level proficiency in:o SPFx (React/Type Script) o PnP Framework and PnP Power Shello SharePoint REST API and Microsoft Graph APIo Power Automate workflows and integrations

Strong experience leading enhancement and modernization projects for SharePoint Online Deep understanding of SharePoint information architecture, taxonomy, metadata-driven design, and modern site architecture

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across permissions, search, performance, and customization layers

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for SPFx (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions), npm-based build pipelines, and Git version control

Experience with governance, compliance, and Secure-by-Design practices for SharePoint solutions

Excellent communication skills, able to lead technical discussions and mentor intermediate/junior developers

Ability to collaborate across roles and deliver enhancements within structured release cycles

Nice to Have:

Preferred certifications: MS 600, PL 400, MS 102, AZ 204

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $70,751- $165,984 CAD.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
