Become a vital member of the Centiro team in Vancouver as a Database Administrator, focusing on SQL Server and MongoDB to ensure data security and performance. Thrive in a hybrid cloud environment.

As a Database Administrator, your role is critical for maintaining the stability and performance of our database systems. You will collaborate closely with software engineers and platform teams, taking ownership of performance optimization and developing best practices within our database management. International travel may be required during initial training and ongoing collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive performance optimization through analysis

• Manage existing databases and daily operations

• Develop routines for effective database server management

• Ensure timely updates for SQL Server and MongoDB

• Automate existing workflows for better efficiency

Requirements:

• Solid experience in SQL Server and MongoDB environments

• Knowledge of managing database permissions and security

• Proficiency in query tuning and optimization

• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud)

• Familiarity with automation scripting (Power Shell)
