Our public sector healthcare client is seeking an Intermediate Data Specialist to manage data analysis, conversion, maintenance, and security across cloud and on-prem environments
Join a large-scale healthcare organization serving multiple regional communities and supporting critical digital and operational data environments. This role ensures integrity and accessibility of data resources used across clinical and administrative systems. Reporting to the Director of Reporting & Application Services, the position plays a key role in transforming and securing analytics assets under progressive technology initiatives. The opportunity offers long-term stability and professional growth within an evolving provincial health data program.
Perm Term position until March 31st , remote within BC
Must Haves
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science
, Computer Science
, or Information Technology5+ years in data analysis
, software maintenance
, and stakeholder engagementSQL & SSIS experienceStrong foundation in cloud computing and data transformation principlesBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceNice to Have
Experience with in healthcare or public sector environmentsFamiliarity with hybrid cloud data ecosystemsResponsibilities
Analyze and maintain structured and unstructured datasets across cloud and on-prem systemsExecute data conversion and transformation initiatives as part of IMIT department operationsEnsure security and quality of organizational data in accordance with governance policiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical data management with strategic objectivesSupport the Director of Reporting & Application Services with continuous improvement of data processesContribute to agile project deliverables and reporting activities within the NeXT Scheduling initiative
