Become a Desktop Support Technician with Axiom Technologies in Vancouver, British Columbia, and provide essential on-site support for desktop environments. Ensure optimal service delivery through effective issue resolution.
This part-time independent contractor position requires at least 3 years of experience in providing IT Infrastructure field support.
Your role will focus on troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software disruptions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You'll be integral in managing service requests and technical escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and fix hardware issues in desktop environments
• Monitor and manage a queue of service requests
• Escalate significant issues to appropriate technical teams
• Document solutions in Service Now and related repositories
• Implement hardware installation and refresh activities
Requirements:
• A+ certification plus a Cisco or Microsoft certification
• Over 3 years of hands-on IT support experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in desktop environments
• Familiarity with Windows 10 & 11 and Office 365
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting
