Senior AV Systems Designer

Position: Senior AV Systems Designer Role
Take charge of transforming AV systems at UBC as a Senior AV Systems Designer, focused on enhancing communication and collaboration. This full-time role is key within the Faculty of Medicine.

You will provide high-level technical leadership in developing AV design standards and implementing solutions that meet diverse university needs. Collaborating closely with faculty and staff, your efforts will support administrative and research objectives by ensuring cutting-edge AV technologies are integrated effectively throughout the campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and implementation of audio-visual systems

• Develop comprehensive AV design standards

• Gather requirements through consultations with end-users

• Create and execute training programs for technical teams

• Ensure quality control during AV system commissioning

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree and suitable experience in AV

• At least five years in AV system design

• Expertise in AV design software and networking

• Strong communication and mentoring skills

• Knowledge of pedagogical impacts on AV design
