Become the Information Technology Coordinator at VACFSS, prioritizing the well-being of Indigenous families in Vancouver, BC. This challenging full-time position requires in-depth IT knowledge and strong leadership abilities.
The IT Coordinator will oversee the agency's IT activities, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery to staff and external partners.
Your role supports the overarching mission of VACFSS through innovative technology and effective workflows that honor Indigenous culture. Occasional overtime may be required for project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and maintain IT systems and security measures
• Support staff with technical issues and technology use
• Manage IT projects and ensure compliance with standards
• Train staff on IT applications and data security
• Coordinate improvements in organizational processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least seven years of IT experience
• Previous supervisory experience is essential
• Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols
• Ability to manage vendor contracts efficiently
