Senior Quality Assurance Analyst To Cybersecurity And It Resiliency Using Saas, Cots

Position Overview

Our transportation client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support cybersecurity and IT resiliency using SaaS, COTS, and on-premise applications.

This includes providing comprehensive quality assurance analysis for the Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program, testing SaaS, COTS, and on-premise applications, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The role impacts the ability to safeguard operations through robust QA practices.

Contract:

6 months, 1–2 days per week onsite, 37.5 hours per week.

• 5+ years of recent and hands‑on experience in application testing for large, complex IT projects
• Experience testing SaaS, on‑premise, and COTS applications
• Comprehensive knowledge of QA methodologies and Agile / Dev Ops testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

• Experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure‑related QA projects
• Exposure to enterprise applications (ERP, Finance, HR, CSM, Asset Management systems)
• Experience in a unionized workplace
• Familiarity with Cyber Ark, AD, Entra , MFA, session management, and key vaulting
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Test Automation, Share Point
• Ability to leverage AI resources for QA processes

• Execute functional, non‑functional, and performance testing for cybersecurity and IT resiliency projects
• Perform API testing of RESTful APIs and SOAP web services
• Conduct data validation and database testing using SQL queries
• Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts
• Oversee QA defect management, triage, and tracking
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define QA/test strategy and support user acceptance testing
• Prepare QA deliverables, including test reports, defect logs, and final QA sign‑off documents
