Cyber and Technology Risk Associate Director

Join the Group Risk Management team as an Associate Director focusing on Cyber and Technology Risk in Toronto. Lead initiatives in risk management while leveraging your expertise in cyber security and compliance.

In this full-time position, the Associate Director will collaborate closely with IT/Cyber Risk Management leadership to oversee key risk programs and ensure compliance. You will conduct thematic reviews, track incidents, and develop effective risk appetite metrics. Additionally, your role includes presenting insights to senior management and monitoring emerging technologies and threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for operational and IT risk programs

• Lead thematic reviews and scenario analysis

• Champion risk management initiatives across the organization

• Maintain Technology Risk profiles and domain assessments

• Advise on compliance and incident reporting

Requirements:

• 7 years in financial services or regulated industries

• 5 years in IT security roles with expert cyber security knowledge

• Experience with enterprise-grade security tools and metrics

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Relevant certifications like CRISC/CISSP or similar
