Support the BC General Employees' Union as a temporary Business Analyst focused on mobile app development and delivery strategies. Engage stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable user stories.
This Business Analyst role will enhance BCGEU’s initiatives by establishing a clear connection between user needs and development goals. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives for the mobile application. Your expertise in software development will guide the team through agile practices and documentation management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage stakeholders to assess and gather initial requirements
• Document clear business needs for technical teams and vendors
• Create and manage actionable user stories in Jira
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and project updates
• Support delivery options evaluation for mobile solutions
Requirements:
• 5+ years of business analyst experience in agile settings
• Strong knowledge of user stories and Scrum methodologies
• Experience managing software releases across platforms
• Proven mobile application release experience
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
