Clio welcomes you to apply for the Data Modeling Co-op, ideal for students passionate about data and its application in business. Over 8 months in either Vancouver or Toronto, you'll collaborate with senior engineers to create dbt models and execute SQL queries, effectively informing business decisions. This is a hands-on role that exposes students to real-world data engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain dbt models for data efficiency

• Optimize SQL queries to support analytical needs

• Conduct dbt tests for data integrity and accuracy

• Collaborate cross-functionally to clarify data needs

• Record and document data assets meticulously

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program

• Solid skills in SQL, particularly JOINs and CTEs

• Familiarity with programming languages like Python

• Ability to work independently with strong communication

• Genuine interest in data modeling and its business impact
