Gold is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Vancouver to deliver exceptional technical support and troubleshooting for various IT systems. This full-time, in-office role is instrumental in maintaining seamless operations for internal users.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will work closely with the Director of Information Technology, providing front-line technical assistance to users. Your responsibilities will include hardware troubleshooting, user workstation setup, and administering support for remote staff. A strong background in Microsoft Windows and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure user workstations and mobile devices
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Manage helpdesk inquiries via phone and email
• Support remote and WFH staff needs
• Maintain and update IT support documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of IT support experience
• Post-secondary education in IT or related field
• Knowledge of Windows OS and basic networking
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be key in supporting B2
Gold's technology initiatives.
