Take on the IT Administrator challenge at B2
Gold in Vancouver, providing essential support and troubleshooting for various user technology needs. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring user satisfaction and efficiency in IT operations.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you'll be the first point of contact for IT support. Your main tasks include configuring workstations, solving software issues, and assisting with hardware setups. Your proficiency in Microsoft Windows and ability to interface with users will ensure that operational disruptions are minimized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy and support user workstations and devices
• Respond to IT-related user calls and emails
• Conduct troubleshooting for hardware and software
• Configure user profiles and email accounts
• Perform routine maintenance on office equipment
Requirements:
• At least one year of user-facing IT support experience
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar
• Strong understanding of Windows systems
• Effective communication skills for troubleshooting
• Capacity to work independent and within a team
