At Monarch, you'll join a rapidly growing Security Engineering team, reporting to the Head of Engineering Infrastructure. Engage hands-on across engineering teams, conducting security reviews, vulnerability management, and applying AI security to safeguard user data. You’ll directly impact the safety of financial information for over a million users while collaborating closely with product engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct application security reviews for product changes

• Enhance SAST/DAST operations within CI/CD pipelines

• Triage and manage vulnerability backlogs effectively

• Coordinate penetration testing against web and API surfaces

• Improve AI security review processes for LLM-integrated features

Requirements:

• 5+ years in security engineering with focus on application and AI security

• Proficiency in Python and web application security practices

• Experience with application security tools like Semgrep or Burp Suite

• Familiarity with AI/ML security risks and mitigations

• Active use of AI tools for security work
