Director of Security Governance and Risk

In this strategic position, you will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and lead efforts to develop a robust security governance model. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that risk management practices align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements, fostering a resilient cybersecurity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define enterprise security policies and control frameworks
• Establish security risk identification and reporting mechanisms
• Lead governance forums and communicate risk postures
• Oversee security assurance strategies and audits
• Direct third-party security risk management initiatives
Requirements:
• 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields
• Strong leadership skills with 5+ years managing teams
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and FedRAMP
• Proven ability to present complex risks to leaders
• Relevant certifications such as CISM and CRISC preferred
