Be a part of Vancity as the Senior Director of Payments, leading transformative strategies in our payment platform and fraud technology. This full-time role is essential for propelling our commitment to secure and effective financial services.
As a key member of Vancity’s tech leadership, you will oversee all aspects of payment rail modernization and fraud management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Your role will facilitate the transition to enhanced payment processes while directly impacting member trust through innovative, secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the payments technology strategy

• Coordinate with Payments Canada for rule adaptations

• Upgrade payment systems across all segments

• Enhance the fraud engine to ensure real-time protection

• Integrate technology across core banking and digital platforms
Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in payments technology

• Familiarity with Interac, RTR, and related systems

• Proven success in designing fraud prevention solutions

• In-depth knowledge of payment modernization initiatives

• Experience in delivering complex technical projects
