Senior Dev Ops/MLOps

Vancouver, BC – 3 days a week onsite
As a Senior Dev Ops/MLOps Engineer on the Artificial Intelligence team, you will lead the reliability and automation of development, testing, and production environments while improving the delivery of code and machine learning models. You will work with modern cloud-native technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and operate highly scalable AI infrastructure.
What You’ll Do- Design and develop CI/CD automation using industry best practices.
- Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize production and non-production environments.
- Provide operational support and troubleshoot issues using monitoring dashboards and log analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient deployments.
- Mentor junior and intermediate Dev Ops/MLOps engineers.
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, MLOps, or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming and threading.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, protocols, databases, and distributed systems.
- Experience with software delivery practices, including Git branching strategies, configuration management, secrets management, feature flags, and zero-downtime deployments.
- Experience mentoring junior and intermediate engineers.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Python or similar scripting languages
- PostgreSQL and Cockroach DB
- Kafka
- Monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Loki, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Package managers and artifact repositories (Artifactory, npm)
- MLFlow, Jupyter Hub, DVC, Tensor Flow
- Experience supporting containerized GPU workloads in Kubernetes

SQL databases, including vector databases - Experience supporting Large Language Models (LLMs)
