Position: Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to support Advanced Metering Systems using smart metering software and Structured

Our power & utilities client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to support Advanced Metering Systems using smart metering software and Structured Decision Making processes -

Join a production support initiative focused on Advanced Metering Systems within a large-scale energy and utilities environment. This role supports smart metering operations, incident resolution, technical design coordination, and AMS system hotfixes and upgrades. The position works across technical and business teams to manage project progress, costs, investment justifications, and business cases.

2 days/week onsite in Burnaby. 12-months contract to start. 37.5 hours/week.

Must Haves

  • 10+ years in Business Analysis supporting Advanced Metering Systems
    , smart meters
    , or Itron smart metering software
  • Structured Decision Making process within business or project environments
  • ITIL best practices and software development lifecycle exposure
  • Project management including project monitoring, progress tracking, and cost control

    • Nice to Have

  • After-hours and call out production support responsibilities
  • Investment justification and business case preparation

    • Responsibilities

  • Manage projects, progress, and costs
  • Monitor project delivery activities and timelines
  • Control project costs within production support initiatives
  • Facilitate incident resolution activities for AMS environments
  • Support technical designs for AMS system hotfixes and upgrades
  • Communicate business needs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prepare investment justifications and business cases
