Elevate your expertise with The Embassy as a Linux Systems Administrator on a short-term, on-site contract in Vancouver, BC. Focus on deploying collaboration platforms and securing Linux infrastructure.
The Embassy, an Oscar-nominated production house, is looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join them for a fixed-term project. This role focuses on deploying self-hosted platforms for email, team chat, and video conferencing while collaborating with the IT team. You will maintain comprehensive documentation for ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit existing Linux server environment for readiness
• Deploy and configure Mailcow, Rocket.
Chat, and Jitsi Meet
• Ensure reliable mail delivery with DNS configuration
• Configure user accounts for over 50 staff members
• Implement security best practices and develop documentation
Requirements:
• 3+ years deploying Mailcow in production
• Experience with Rocket.
Chat and Jitsi Meet
• Strong knowledge of Docker and security practices
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
